Iron is essential for a number of our daily functions from energy production to mental function, supporting our immune system and also muscle function.

What are the Benefits of an Iron Infusion?
Rapid Iron Replacement
Iron infusions allow for faster and more effective restoration of your iron levels than iron tablets, leading to more rapid symptom relief
Delivery of Larger Iron Doses
Doses of up to 1.5 grams of iron can be delivered directly into your bloodstream in a 30 minute infusion, compared to up to only 325 milligrams of iron in oral tablets which then have to be less efficiently absorbed in your gastrointestinal tract
Benefits for Other Medical Conditions
Improving your iron levels can be highly beneficial in managing other health conditions and their associated symptoms eg. chronic kidney disease & heart disease. If you suffer from these conditions, discuss an iron infusion with your specialist

Similarly, certain conditions can put you at increased risk of iron deficiency. Do you suffer from heavy menstrual bleeding, or have had bariatric surgery in the past? Enquire about an iron infusion
Enhance your Quality of Life
Iron infusions enhance your quality of life, through improving energy levels, cognitive performance and revitalising your overall wellbeing
Fewer Bothersome Side Effects
By bypassing the gastrointestinal tract, iron infusions are far less likely to cause bothersome gastrointestinal side effects that iron tablets do, such as nausea and constipation
Safe, Well-Tolerated & Cost Effective
The iron infusion process only takes 20 to 30 minutes with minimal risks involved, compared to having to purchase and take iron tablets for many months with often suboptimal improvement in iron levels & symptoms
